Searching for Philadelphia facts on John/Johann Horst, born Germany 1935, arrived in America about 1873/4,went originally to Baltimore- a cutler. With wife, Anna C.Wolf and 6 children moved to Philadelphia about 1886. Need naturalization, intent,time and port of entry, marriage certificate. Died in Philadelphia April 27,1895, wife died in Philadelphia October 13,1928.

Does anyone know who the ancestors were of Thomas Songster, who was naturalized in 1834 in Philadephia. He was, supposedly, born in Ireland. His wife was Elizabeth Wallace who was b. 1809 d. 1893. We cannot find any record of immigration nor where he is from in Ireland. This is my 3rd great-grandfather and have been trying for years to trace the family.

Would like to prove the children and the maiden name of the wife of Matthew McConnell who died before 20 Nov 1816, Philadelphia. His will names only his wife Ruth who was executress along with his friend James Musgrave. Matthew was the first president of the Philadelphia Stock Exchange and a member of the Society of Cincinnati. Very old DAR applications state that he had a brother Isaac who married Margaret Jones . Their children moved to VIrginia, but no proof was submitted for any of the information.

I'm looking for information on the marriage of James FREW and Mary HOUCK.. Their marriage would have been in the 1770 to 1790 time period. Also would like information on the families of both. My 3rd great-grandmother, Rachel FREW was their daughter and was born about 1798 and notes left by my great-aunt say both Rachel and her husband, Richard H. BOYER were from Philadelphia. James FREW is believed to have immigrated from Ireland or Scotland about 1774 but the exact date is unknown.

Searching for information and/or descendants of John Brackenridge of Philadelphia, born in Pittsburgh, a son of Judge Alexander Brackenridge. Known to be living there (Philadelphia) in 1869, died before 1890. In 1890 widow Eliza Ann was living in Atlantic City with son John and wife Lorena. Alexander Porter Brackenridge, another son, was living in Philadelphia with wife Katie. William McKibbin died in Philadelphia during 1867. Widow Jane Brackenridge McKibbin died in Pittsburgh during 1890, remains shipped to Philadelphia via rail. Presumed buried with her husband.

Contains christening and death information as well. I am not a member of this family, but would like to give this Bible to a person that can show that they are a descendant of this family.

Need information on Joseph T. Patterson. He was married at one time to Elayne Joyce Arrants in Phila, PA in 1957 or 1958. Her mother was Dorothy Reynolds. She was married to a Charles Richard Reynolds, Sr. I don't have much information to go on. I was born to this marrage. My father did not know she was pregnant when he had left. This was the story I was told. He was from new jersey I did not know my mother either. She passed away 7-20-84. I was raised by my grandparents Dorothy Reynolds and step-grandfather Charles R. Reynolds, Sr. in Philadelphia Pa. The last place we lived was on 2nd Street in Phila. We moved around a lot.

Also seeking Jane Christie family probably of Philadelphia.
